Dr Elizabeth Lavender
President
Liz trained as a nurse in South Africa before working internationally across clinical practice and nurse education. Her interests include rural, regional, and accessible higher education opportunities.
Dr Ingrid Brooks
Vice President
Dr Ingrid Brooks has had a long career in nursing education, leadership, and curriculum development, with extensive experience serving on professional boards and committees at state and national levels.
Mr David Balcombe
Treasurer
David is a Chartered Accountant with experience in audit, corporate finance, and risk management. He now works as a financial counsellor specialising in gambling-related financial issues.
Adjunct Associate Professor Judith Reeves
Member
Judy Reeves is Director of Nursing Education and Professional Development at Alfred Health, with longstanding interests in leadership, staff development, clinical practice improvement, and nursing scholarships.
Ms Barbara Green
Member
Barbara has extensive experience in nursing education and higher education administration, with a strong focus on international education, cultural competency, and global partnerships in the university sector.
Dr Susan Lee
Member
Dr Lee is a registered nurse and former academic with expertise in education, research, and palliative care. She has extensive experience supporting nursing research and postgraduate supervision.
Emeritus Professor Mari Bott
Member
Distinguished Professor Emeritus Mari Botti has over 40 years of experience in nursing academia, research leadership, and mentorship, with extensive involvement in university and healthcare research ethics committees.
Sue Burgess
Member
Sue is an experienced executive leader with a background across cultural institutions, financial services, and volunteer organisations, specialising in governance, partnerships, and community engagement.
